Support Services

From day one and their arrival at Reception through to their departure, Holdfast seeks to provide military personnel with a suitable environment in which to conduct their training. In addition to training delivery and training support, we also provide an array of other essential services. These services cut across all areas of the RSME and can be split into nine functional areas:

  • Security - reception of visitors, issue of passes and management of parking
  • Transport - management of all green and white fleet vehicles and provision of transport (self drive and driver provided)
  • Accommodation services - management of accommodation, catering, retail (Costcutter and Costa outlets), leisure, cleaning services and pest control
  • Stores and Engineer Resource - receipt, issue, maintenance and storage of all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
  • Equipment Support - workshop service and repair of GFE
  • CIS - RSME wide LAN, management of telephone services and IT support to training
  • Management and Administration - support to induction and visitor briefings, photography, graphics, reprographics and management advice
  • Asset Management - planned and reactive maintenance of all assets and infrastructure including grounds maintenance

Our output is measured on a  monthly basis through a robust performance monitoring regime to ensure that the highest of standards are maintained.
